Vince eager why
In the years that followed the Parnes era, he toured on the cabaret circuit, and performed in theatre and pantomime. For five years he starred in the West End musical Elvis.
Now residing back in the UK, Eager's career has had something of a resurgence. Teaming up with producer and musician Alan Wilson, there have been new recordings some of which have featured Eager's old friends including; Marty Wilde, Albert Lee and Chas Hodges. The resulting album release, titled years of Rock n Roll sold well enough for Wilson's Western Star record label to invite Eager back for another session in The latest album, Rockabilly Dinosaur was released in Eager now lives in Nottinghamshire.

How did the fuel crisis make cruising what it is today? Do the crew sleep onboard? All will be revealed! Vince's passion for music began when, as a toddler during the second world war, he would sing along with his father who played the piano. Vince's grandmother saw the potential in his voice and enrolled him in her church choir where, within three years he became a soloist.
Singing in his local church choir lead to Vince appearing in local pantomimes and talent shows and forming a skiffle group named "The Vagabonds". The bar was the place to be seen and it lead to a theatre appearance where Vince was spotted by Tommy Steele's manager Larry Parnes. Along with his TV appearances, Vince worked on the variety theatre circuit. As theatre's closed, the night club circuit in the UK blossomed. Along with Vince's overseas and UK cabaret appearances he also became in demand with the blossoming cruise liner entertainment industry.
The s found Vince enjoying intermittent high seas adventures on cruise liners as they became more popular, whilst on dry land he was kept busy on the cabaret circuit with his new group, "The Clockwork Toys". Following his five years in the lead role in the award winning West End show "Elvis the Musical", Vince was offered a Cruise Director's position on cruise ships. His wife became a travel manager and they spent 14 years on the high seas. During Vince and Anette's years at sea they visited over 80 countries and collected a wealth of tales to tell.
